How to create a Bootable pen drive

A boot able pen drive comes with lot of advantages. It can be used to run an anti virus program in case your hard disk is already under virus or malware attack. Apart from that installation speeds are greatly improved when we install from a flash drive and a pen drive is handy and convenient to carry around unlike DVD. Apart from that it becomes possible to install the softwares even on those systems that do not have a DVD/CD drives, such as a Netbook. But you don't know how to create a bootable flash or pen drive. Don't worry help is at hand. It is very easy and we will guide you  to a step by step process to create a bootable pen drive.
Basically you may achieve your goal by two ways. First is to install a software which on it's own make you pen drive Bootable or do it manually using windows command prompt. For the software mode follow to below given link to download the software and follow the instructions.

Manual Method to make you pen drive bootable:
Take a you pen drive (at least having 4 GB space). Insert it into USB port and format it.
Type in CMD in Start menu search field and hit Ctrl + Shift + Enter. Alternatively, navigate to Start > All programs >Accessories > right click on Command Prompt and select run as administrator or open RUN ,type cmd and hit enter.
As soon as the command prompt opens type in the following commands:
DISKPART+ENTER.
LIST DISK+ENTER.
List disk command will list down all the disks available on your system at that point of time with a number allocated to each disk.
Now you have to figure out your pen drive's disk number and then type the following commands:
SELECT DISK X (Replace DISK X with your pen drive's disk number)
CLEAN
CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY
SELECT PARTITION 1
ACTIVE
FORMAT FS=NTFS (Format process may take few seconds)
ASSIGN
EXIT, Bootable USB, minimise the command window.
Insert your Windows DVD in the optical drive and note down the drive letter of the optical drive and USB media. Here I am using “D” as my optical (DVD) drive letter and “H” as my USB drive letter.
Go back to command prompt and execute the following commands:
D:CD BOOT and hit enter. Where “D” is your DVD drive letter.
CD BOOT and hit enter to see the below message.
BOOTSECT.EXE/NT60 H: (Where “H” is your USB drive letter)
Transfer or copy the windows DVD/CD contents to bootable pen drive. Now you have a completely bootable pen drive.
Important Message: When we make a pen drive bootable we convert it into NTFS format from FAT 32,this in turn makes USB loose its efficiency. So if you guys really love your pen drives then this process should be avoided.
